PRINTED SURFACING TISSUE
IMAGEFIBREā¢, developed in conjunction with Minera Pty.Ltd. in Australia, is a printed glass fibre surfacing veil that incorporates a printed image into the surface of a composite part. Use of Imagefibre allows three dimensional parts to be moulded with the image laid in the surface with minimal need for rework to get a high quality finished surface.
Imagefibre⢠has been successfully used in manufacture of the luxury Cabriolet Royale boat hull with the appearance of mahogany, but manufactured as a glass fibre reinforced composite.
The wood grain printed tissue can be used with different coloured resins to produce a variety of wood grain effects in composite parts.
